Tonight’s JD RETAILER TRIBUTE goes to our friends in beautiful Colorado – SMOKER FRIENDLY. …. For those of you who know this incredible family owned and run mega-chain of tobacco stores then you understand why I’m giving them this tribute tonight. … Well, a person might think how can a family run biz be so involved with their community, their consumers, their staff, and the industry as a whole – gee wiz – 85 Corporate Stores and 850 Smoker Friendly smoke shops throughout the area….damn …! Now, if you remember the first night of the JD RETAILER TRIBUTE you would recall that the store I chose was Governors, the third night Mulberry Street, fourth was Lake Country – all Brick & Mortar, family run small shops. Here we are on the fifth night and I selected this monster – why? Smoker Friendly is indeed a special place, warm people with a lot to teach you about this biz cause they’ve been in it forever, starting from one small gas station by the patriarch of the Gallagher family. Today I honor you, Smoker Friendly. All of you, not only the owners – the whole team. Thank you for what you have brought to our industry – warmth and class. Lovely.
