Cigar Aficionado Bestows a Tremendous 93 Rating to the Herrera Esteli Miami Short Corona Gorda

In the most recent Cigar Insider by Cigar Aficionado, the Herrera Esteli Miami Short Corona Gorda scored a tremendous 93 rating, while our partners at Joya de Nicaragua had their Numero Uno L’Ambassadeur score an equally excellent 92.

Regarding the Herrera Esteli Miami, Cigar Aficionado finds the cigar, “Gleaming with a slightly reddish tinge…draws openly and evenly, offering a procession of nutty and cedary notes followed by distinct intonations of cinnamon and cardamom, all culminating in a brown sugar finish.”

Crafted by Level 9 Cuban Rollers, the complete Herrera Esteli Miami line is expertly rolled with a lavish Ecuadorian Habano Oscuro wrapper over a rich Ecuadorian Sumatran binder with select fillers from the Dominican Republic and Nicaragua. The new look of Herrera Esteli Miami features a black and gold color tone and is available in 5 vitolas. Previously, the toro size landed on Cigar Aficionado’s Top 25 Cigars of 2019!

In regard to the Numero Uno L’Ambassadeur, Cigar Aficionado notes this smoke is, “a blond, thin cigar topped with a pigtail cap. Its lush draw delivers plenty of creamy, toasty smoke with undertones of cinnamon, vanilla, and almonds. Balanced and elegant with a luxurious texture on the palate.

This blend comes in only one vitola, L’Ambassadeur, a parejo 6 5/8 x 44 tailed lonsdale. In the United States, it is available only at DDRP brick and mortar stores, in 25 count boxes. Número Uno uses a silky and delicate Ecuadorian Connecticut shade wrapper over a Nicaraguan binder and Nicaraguan fillers

Thank you to the team at Cigar Aficionado for your tremendous reviews!
