Cigar Inn
The JD RETAILER TRIBUTE for July 23rd, 2013 takes us back to the niddy griddy, rottin apple … “Uptown, baby baby” and Midtown locations are both well covered by our friends Billy, Gus, and Bas at The CIGAR INN. As a cigar lover, a #botl or #sotl who is visiting Manhattan – how could you come to Midtown (54th & 2nd Ave) and not pop into this place? You’d be making a quintessential mistake, as this is where all the lovers of the leaf are smokin their Opus, Anniversarios, Tats and LIGA PRIVADAS, just to name a few. The CIGAR INN has got big style indeed. As a matter of fact, this is the only retail lounge that I know of that is an official CIGAR AFICIONADO LOUNGE. Thats pretty tight indeed. … For many years after I moved to Nicaragua in 1998, I used to drop by their uptown location on 1st Ave and 71/72 street when I was home visiting my mom and dad. Whenever I would drop in it was always unexpected – and the thing that I noticed and respected most about these young dudes was their work ethic. These guys are self made and as hard working as they come. I respect that, period. So today, I honor my NYC brethren with this #jdretailertribute and call upon the forces of #botlnychapter to raise our cigars high in the air and say with our New York BIGGIE SMALLZ voice “Babbbby Babbbby” ….
