Developing Palates Reviews of The Liga Privada Unico Serie Year of The Rat!

Developing Palates did a team review of the Liga Privada Year of The Rat and the Results were… (we are still waiting on our finance team to run some calculations) great! Developing Palates takes a different approach to Cigar Reviews, they have a 4-person team review the same cigar and instead of a 0-100 scale their scoring system goes from 0-10. Each element of a cigar gets a weighted amount of points and this all contributes to the final score. Let’s see what some of the expert panel had to say about the Liga Privada Year of The Rat!

SETH GEISE: “I really enjoyed the Year of the Rat and I tend to enjoy any release from Drew Estate that revolves around a rat. Dirty Rat, Velvet Rat and Ratzilla. The Drew Estate Liga Privada Unico Year of the Rat 2020 was a rich cigar that had a lovely strength and body level to go with the flavors delivered.”

JOHN MCTAVISH: “The Drew Estate Liga Privada Unico Year of the Rat 2020 was enjoyable and should deliver on both presentation and flavor to satisfy regular customers and fanboys alike. The flavor profile leaned more towards the dark and toasted flavor components of the Liga Privada No. 9, or the Dirty Rat, than the sweeter and spicier Liga Privada T52, which I personally prefer.”

JIUNN LIU: “…Absolutely loved the chewy mouthful with ample sweetness, cream, cherry cordials, dark chocolate and good backing of spices coming from baking spices and minerals. The want to chain smoke these is high and I look forward to the next one.”
