Drew Estate Earns a Trio of High Ratings in the Latest Issue of Cigar Journal Magazine

In the Spring Issue of Cigar Journal Magazine, Drew Estate earned high accolades for a trio of fantastic cigars, including the Pappy Van Winkle Coronita.

The Pappy Van Winkle Coronita starts off the show, scoring a 92 rating! Cigar Journal Magazine notes, “ In this small format you’ll find a hint of cacao sweetness and woody aromas, combined with spices, a peppery kick, nutty and leather aromas. Added to this are coffee notes, and a lot of gentle, creamy smoke. Very harmonious.”

Coming in with a 91 rating, we have the Florida Sun Grown Toro! The reviewers find, “the gentle jam sweetness note of this cigar accompanies it from start to finish. It also presents nuts, milk, coffee, toasted bread, roasted aromas, eucalyptus freshness, careful bitter notes and a lot of creamy smoke.”

Finally, rounding out a trio of reviews we have the Undercrown Sun Grown Gran Toro scoring a 91 rating and noted as a best buy! In the review, they illuminate, “The earthy, coffee and woody are underscored by a light cacao and licorice sweetness as well as pepperiness. During the smoke the cigar gains a lot of diversity in spice and aromas. Robust and harmonious.”
