What is Cigar Safari?
Well, the time has almost come, in 1 day we will be announcing Cigar Safari dates for the 2017-2018 seasons. Many of you have seen pictures, or our posts on social media, but today we are going to share a little more about what is Cigar Safari and why you should join us at La Gran Fabrica Drew Estate in Nicaragua.
Cigar Safari is an all-inclusive Nicaraguan Tobacco Experience. Once you arrive in Managua, Nicaragua you hop on the our Cigar Safari bus and be driven to Esteli, Nicaragua, all the while you will be smoking and getting to know everyone on your tour. Once you arrive, you can relax from all the travel in our pool or smoking cigars at the lounge. On Cigar Safari, all cigars are complementary and we want you to enjoy yourself on your trip.
On the first day, you will wake up, take in the beautiful view of Esteli and enjoy a delightful breakfast. Then your group will be taken tour a tobacco plantation and to the Joya de Nicaragua factory. After you see their operations, you will work with their blenders, taste the tobacco and have your own cigar blend made! Then back to Drew Estate for dinner, scotch and more cigars.
The next morning after breakfast, begins your tour of Drew Estate. You will start in the pre-production facility, and move on to lunch. After lunch you will tour the factory and once again have the opportunity to blend your cigar with tobaccos from Drew Estate. Once your blending seminar has completed, you will get to visit Subculture Studios. There you will have the opportunity to get your own personal items custom painted by Jessi Flores and his team. Dinner is back at Drew Estate for a nightcap and long ash competition
After breakfast on the last day, you will receive your personal blends and head back to the airport. Cigar Safari is a once in a lifetime experience. You will learn everything from seed to cigar, and build memories that will last a lifetime. We hope you can join us in Nicaragua and always remember #de4l.
