Job Type: Full Time

The wrapper, binder, and filler refer to the individual leaves that make up the cigar you're enjoying.

The filler leaves of the cigar are the inner-most leaves and make up a majority of the tobacco inside. Filler leaves are bunched together by buncheros at the factory.

These filler leaves are held together with a binder leaf - a whole leaf encasing all of the filler tobacco and holding them tightly together.

Finally, and perhaps most importantly, the wrapper. This single leaf is the outermost cover of the cigar, and must be high-quality in both performance and aesthetics.

Individual cigar sizes, called vitolas, can shape your experience and enjoyment of a blend. At Drew Estate, we strive to offer our brands in a variety of vitolas that best show off the tobaccos contained inside. Exploring the subtle taste profile differences between different sizes is a great way to learn more about your favorite blend or switch up your experience.

Each size is presented in two numbers: the first is the length of the cigar, in inches. The second is the “ring gauge” - a measurement of the diameter of the cigar, measured in 64ths of an inch.
