The Pappy Van Winkle Tradition was hand-selected by Julian P. Van Winkle III, bourbon icon and president of Old Rip Van Winkle Distillery. Created by Willy Herrera in 2012, the blend was was selected to pair perfectly a high-quality wheated bourbon such as Pappy Van Winkle’s Family Reserve. Rolled using the Cuban “entubado” method, the Tradition cigar honors the meticulous cigar-making process. Each Pappy Van Winkle Tradition cigar features an oily and smooth Ecuadorian Habano Oscuro wrapper over Dominican and Nicaraguan fillers. The tobacco blend is extensively aged to deliver an ultra-smooth experience, lush with notes of chocolate, earth, and leather.
