Drew Estate opened our factory doors in 1998 with the goal of bridging the culture of New York City and Estelí, Nicaragua. From these early days, the humble town of Estelí and La Gran Fabrica Drew Estate grew together, hand-in-hand and through the ups and downs. Throughout our time in Nicaragua, we’ve always admired how the good people of Estelí focused on growth and change while staying true to their roots, their families, their dreams … as well as their premium tobacco culture. As Estelí grew, beautiful architecture emerged at the local level, including bright and beautiful homes – the homes that we pay homage to on each and every box of Nica Rustica.
